Aleksandr Yakovlev, former presidential
advisor to Mikhail Gorbachev, dies at age 81. Yakovlev visited Stockholm on
18 March 2003 to speak at the Swedish Society for the Study of Russia,
Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. In commeroration of this
architect of the perestroika policy, I now publish my account (in
Swedish) of Yakovlev's Stockholm lecture
(in Swedish).
